Inter-Active Music

I-AM, or Inter-Active Music, is music as it used to be--in the good ol' days, before electronics. That is, everybody participates, thus the group members are inter-acting, both with the music and each other. It might be playing drums or other instruments; it might be singing or dancing. It might be active listening and reflecting. It may be fun or inspiring. But whatever it is, it is inter-acting, bringing people together and expressing.

  1. Inter-Active Music (I-AM) has provided a fun way to bring together people with Alzheimer's into a social setting with each other and with their loved ones.

  2. Children love to direct the group's movement with a drum or to lead pitch exploration with a puppet on their hand.
